"Much More to Come" - Book Launch Event with Eleanor Mills

CWN are thrilled to invite our members and guests of members to join us for a very special evening celebrating the launch of Much More to Come, the inspiring new book by Eleanor Mills, CEO of Noon. In collaboration with Eleanor, we'll gather for an evening of thought-provoking conversation, drinks, and canapés in the stunning offices of HSBC.  This is a unique opportunity to hear first hand from Eleanor about her journey and the themes of her book, while connecting with like-minded individuals in a wonderful setting. 

About Eleanor Mills

Eleanor Mills is a bestselling author, award-winning journalist and Editor and the Founder of Noon.org.uk – a platform and community for women in midlife.  Her mission is to change the story told in our culture about the later stages of women’s lives.  This matters not just for older women (she coined the term Queenagers to describe how we come into our wisdom and power at 45 plus) but for ALL women: learning to value the Queenager eliminating the ridiculous ‘sell by’ dates too often put on females in our youth-obsessed culture, extends the runway for ALL women. 

Eleanor’s book – a Times Bestseller – Much More to Come, Lessons on the mayhem and magnificence of midlife and serves as a a manifesto for seeing our Queenager years not as something to dread but a time to look forward to. As the former editor of The Sunday Times Magazine , a columnist and interviewer of everyone from prime ministers to Sheryl Sandberg and the Dalai Lama, Eleanor had a front seat on how the male lens of the media too often defines women negatively, particularly as they age.  It is time to shake off the programming and re-imagine our 100-year-lives in multiple acts; as we live longer we are all going to have to pivot and reinvent several times. Yet this is not something we are ever warned about or taught to do. 

Eleanor is an inspirational speaker who will leave you feeling energised and excited about what is to come – her talk is as relevant to women in their twenties as it is to Queenagers of 45 plus.  When women support and understand each other, we all rise.  As a former Chair of Women in Journalism and mother of two daughters, Eleanor is passionate about telling new stories about what is possible for all women.  Do come and join us for what promises to be a lively event. Hosted by a super Queenager and holder of one of Eleanor’s monthly NOON Circles, Sam Cooper Gray Global Head of Market Strategy for HSBC Business, in the stunning hospitality suite of HSBC in Canary Wharf.  Our vice president, Geraldine Gallacher, will be also asking Eleanor about the book and encouraging a wider Q&A with the audience.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Cancellation Policy

For tickets cancelled no later than 7 days in advance of the event we are able to provide a full refund of the ticket fee. For any tickets cancelled later than 7 days in advance of the event, a refund can only be given should the ticket be re-sold to the waiting list.
